真木環個展「マリオンと子供部屋の女王アリス」

今回の個展は自作の物語の挿画を展示するというコンセプトで計画しました。個展のために制作した掌編「マリオンと子供部屋のアリス」は少女マリオンの元に、子供部屋の女王に就任したアリスからの戴冠式の招待状が届くというところから始まります。女王アリスは、ルイス・キャロルの「不思議の国のアリス」に登場するアリスではなく、キャロルがその物語を語った、アリスのモデルである実在の少女、アリス・リデルをモデルにしました。アリス・リデルは私の絵画作品のミューズであります。挿絵は、マリオンが戴冠式に向かう道中で様々な経験をする場面を描いています。挿絵が一堂に会して展示される機会は今後ないと思いますので、ぜひ楽しんでご覧ください。
2014年より独学で油彩制作を始める。2016年より建石修志氏に師事。定期的に個展を中心に作品を発表している。

MAKI Tamaki solo exhibition "Marion and Alice, the Queen of the Kids'
Room"

This solo exhibition was conceived around the idea of ??displaying illustrations for a story of my own creation. The short story written for this exhibition, *Marion and Alice, the Queen of the Kids' Room*, begins when a young girl named Marion receives an invitation to the coronation of Alice, who has ascended to the throne as the Queen of the Nursery. This Queen Alice is not the character from Lewis Carroll’s *Alice's Adventures in Wonderland*; rather, she is modeled after Alice Liddell?the real-life girl who inspired Carroll’s tale. Alice Liddell serves as the muse for my paintings. The illustrations depict the various experiences Marion encounters on her journey to the coronation. As this is likely a rare opportunity to see all these illustrations displayed together, I hope you enjoy viewing them.
