伊藤知世は、1985年長野県生まれ。独得なマチエールで理想とする少女像を描く。その純化された少女のイメージは、かわいらしいだけではなく、陶器を思わせる滑らかな肌、媚びることのない冷静なまなざしは、不思議な存在感を作品に与えています。
初個展となるこの展示では、16点（うち新作14点）をご覧いただきます。
作家コメント
「日々の生活や心情などから雰囲気は描くたび変化するものの、描きたいのはいつも少女たちです。丁寧に、より深い世界が描ければと思います。」

Tomoyo Ito was born in Nagano Prefecture in 1985. She portrays what she
feels to be ideal girls in her own unique style. The purified image of
the girls is not merely cute, and the flawless porcelain-like skin and
cool, dispassionate expression give the subjects of the works a mysterious
kind of presence. This is the artist’s first solo exhibition with 16 works
to be shown, including 14 new works.
Artist’s comment:
“Although the feeling may derive from everyday life and sentiment, it
is always the girl that I want to paint the most. With a gentle hand, I
think I can paint and portray a slightly deeper world.”
