「不思議の国のアリス」の名場面を描いた鉛筆画を中心に、物語の1ページの様なアクリル画、色鉛筆画を展示いたします。
以前から「不思議の国のアリス」の挿絵を描きたいと考えていました。
既に数多くの素晴らしい挿絵が存在する中で、いま自分が描くことのできるアリスはなんだろうかと考えたとき、最もシンプルで物語の世界に没頭できる鉛筆画に辿り着きました。
現実には存在しない「不思議の国」だけれど、まるで本当にあるように細密に、そして愉快に、を目指して描きました。楽しんでいただけたら嬉しいです。

This exhibition will mainly feature pencil drawings of famous scenes from “Alice in Wonderland,” as well as acrylic and colored pencil paintings that resemble a page from the story.
I have been wanting to illustrate “Alice in Wonderland” for a long time.
There are already many wonderful illustrations of Alice in Wonderland, but when I thought about what kind of Alice I could draw now, I arrived at the simplest pencil drawing that would allow me to immerse myself in the world of the story.
I painted this “Wonderland,” which does not exist in reality, in such a detailed and delightful manner that it looks as if it really exists.
